UK Wheelchair Challenge 2010
Date: Sunday 19th September 2010
Location: Tudor Grange Park, Solihull, West Midlands
The UK Wheelchair Challenge is a charity event for wheelchair users, enabling participants to raise money for their favourite charities. It is made up of two different events aimed at different levels of ability. It makes no difference whether you are an amateur sportsperson or simply someone who wants to have some fun. THE UK WHEELCHAIR CHALLENGE is open to all levels.
TWO EVENTS TAKE PLACE ON A FAIRLY CHALLENGING COURSE & ANY WHEELED MOBILITY DEVISE CAN BE USED.
THE 1KM WHEELCHAIR CHALLENGE will be all about taking part. This challenge is all about participation and proving to yourself what you are capable of achieving. Carers and parents are welcome to take part and help too.
THE 3KM WHEELCHAIR CHALLENGE, is designed to be much more challenging for those disabled sportsmen and women (amateur) who have suitably trained for the event. Although the aim is to have fun, there is the option to add an extra challenge by bringing along a watch and timing yourself to complete the course.

CHOOSE YOUR CHARITY
You can choose any registered charity for the disabled to donate to, all we need is the name of the charity you are fundraising for and then go to virgin money giving to create your sponsorship page and get friends, family and work colleagues to donate. This is a great way to raise much needed funds and to have fun at the same time. We are hoping to raise thousands of pounds for charities across the UK.
