Babies compete to be the first to crawl from one side of a 5 metre mat to the other. The fastest baby to finish is crowned the youngest world champion ever....
The contest is not only fun for babies, parents eagerly jangle keys and call the babies name to entice them to crawl faster, turning it into a really family centric event.
Baby crawling contests are not as yet very prevelant in the UK, but they are very popular in Japan and America, featuring at baby shows, state fairs and store openings. Some video clips can be seen here
